About us

The Old Post Office is located in the town centre of Stevenage, two minutes’ walk from the Westgate Shopping Centre and less then a minutes walk from the main Bus Station.

We have something for everyone at ‘TOPO' – daytimes have a relaxed atmosphere, with a vibrant lunchtime trade, also ideal for a few afternoon drinks or a game of pool with friends.

Evenings have lots to offer too, with live sport, 2 pool tables, and open until 1am on Friday and Saturday night. The Old Post Office is the place to be! Check out our Facebook for all our upcoming events!.

Amazing food and service, never seen pigs in blankets so big lol! Lyndsey and Chloe were very helpful with my friend as well, allowing her to swap out one item for another as it was out of stock! Will definitely be back here next time we're in Stevenage! :)

Lovely pub, fantastic service from Lyndsey and Chloe. Didn't have gammon for my mixed grill so got bacon instead! Absolutely delicious still. Good portions and tasty too! Wonderful family pub for kids as well. ☺️

Great experience at the Old Post Office, the food was delicious. The service was excellent and quick, Chloe Lynsey and Liam were there on the day when our group were there. Would recommend to others!

Edited to reply to pub: Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have feedback for improvement. The food was really, really substandard, even for a 'basic food' type of place. My burger was tiny, and others in my party who ordered steak either waited ages or got served overcooked steaks. One or two complained that the lager pipes probably need addressing as they weren't ideal pints. Positives? Your staff are super-welcoming and pleasant. They get five stars. Best of luck for the future. We'll try The Old Post Office again in 2024 when we are back in Stevenage once more.

Amazing pub! Very friendly. Kid and Dog friendly. Amazing selection of drinks, fairly priced. Outdoor seating and pool tables. Food and drinks deals daily. Amy the barmaid is fantastic.
