Great little pub friendly atmosphere, lovely and warm and cosy
A proper pub. No gastro food, no reserved tables. Great customers. Always good for a friendly chat.
This is my favourite pub in Monmouth. They have an array of musical instruments, darts, pool and a nice selection of shorts 👌
Thoroughly enjoyed our first quiz night. Very pleasant lady quizzer, ran on time, lots of laughter - a pity there were so few teams, but that not the fault of the lovely, cozy, old hostelry. Service great.
Just amazingly welcoming pub. Beautiful place and great beer garden. I’ll be telling everyone who visits the area. Thanks

The Punch House is a Grade II listed building situated in Agincourt Square. Officially called the Punch House in 1896, it was initially a coaching inn called The Wine Vaults and records indicate that the pub was in existence as far back as 1769.
