Small pub, good prices, lady behind bar was so nice
Funny, inclusive, kind and thoughtful. I walked in the door and recognised my kind of pub, but with the caveat that sometimes (very, very occasionally), they turn out to be hostile. I needn't have worried. This is an absolute gem of a place, Cassie (serving) was a diamond and the customers were genuinely having a great night. If you want chrome and superficial facades this isn't for you. If, on the other hand, you want a proper community pub then I 100% recommend it. I was welcomed in and invited into as much of the conversation as I wanted. 100% recommend. IAlso I've just realised that nobody, nada, zilch people were on their phones.... Also, real beer....

Just back from a few days in Douglas, spent a bit of time in the Old Market Inn. A nice chilled out pub where you can get a great pint! Kassy, the barmaid is also super friendly and lovely. Looking forward to going back. Thanks for laughs, OMG and tea. Peter x

Prospect is situated opposite the Government building in Douglas and has a wide range of cask ales on offer

This is a good old fashioned "boozer". The Brand range is not extensive but sells the local Okells cask ale. Pool room and dart board along with racing on tv. The pub is renowned locally for its "Saddle-oake!"
