Down a narrow, cobbled road off Borough High Street lies this traditional pub. The stained glass windows hint at a bygone era and the large murals adorning the walls tell the story of a pub and an area that has a rich history. The layout inside is simple: an L-shaped bar in a large bareboarded floor space, with six handpumps and five or six beers, serving the electric mix of tourists, office workers and marketgoers. Happy hour is from 4-7 on Monday to Thursday.
Great little pub next near London Bridge. The manager and his staff were so lovely they put the Australian Open on for us to watch Sinner vs. Medvedev. They were very accommodating, food was reasonably priced and the service was great. Highly recommend
Loved this pub. Great refuge from the madness of London Bridge and borough market. Beautiful stained glass windows, chill no nonsense vibe but cosy nonetheless. Had one of my favorite ales(proper job IPA). And they take cash!!!!
Nice little old pub on a alley next to London bridge station. Service was great, food was good and we enjoyed a pint there. Worth a visit. The Tortilha plate is really good.
This pub is right out of the Victorian Era of London. It dates back to 1888. It's decor is cozy and homey. We were there at Happy Hour. It wasn't too crowded. There is seating outside for those who want. There is also seating upstairs. There is a nice view of The Shard. The restrooms are on the ground floor. Very friendly staff. A pub to admire!
