The Old House has Fuller's Real Ales on tap, together with regular Guest Ales and an extensive selection of Wines from around the world. There are 2 bars and a fabulous heated patio garden. Perfect for those long summer days and summer nights.
We always have at least four traditional cask ales available, usually with the addition of a guest beer too. We're the best pub in Romsey for ale enthusiasts.
Monday to Thursday we serve our full menu along with our specials from 12-8.30 and Friday and Saturday from 12-9pm.
On Sunday’s lunch is served from 12-4pm where we offer a variety of roasts along with an a la carte menu for something a little different.
There is a commitment at 'The Old House' to buying locally with fresh produce daily. We specialise in Fish, Poultry, Meat and Game creating traditional dishes with a more modern presentation and excellent value for money.

Had our family Christmas gathering here on 27th December in their side room which was just right Unfortunately due to weather conditions (rubbish) and distances travelling we were an hour late for sitting down but they accommodated us without fuss. We'd pre ordered and all the food came out together (20 of us) that's excellent on the part of the kitchen, and hot too. Very tasty and never rushed us to leave after 4 hours. We had presents to open!! Well done and thank you xx
Absolutely everything a great pub should be and more. Food that was insanely good. Great beers and wines. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. And at very very reasonable prices. Literally couldn’t find a single fault. Will be back whenever I can
Yet another fabulous evening meal in the Old House at Home. Met up with long lost friends and had delicious food.... 5 different pies available plus the normal menu. Steak and kidney was lovely as were veg and chips. All food tasty and well presented, waiting staff helpful and welcoming. Free parking available
A great place for a Sunday Roast! It was my first time in Romsey, and I didn't know where to have lunch. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this place, and the food was delicious, and the service was excellent and quick. We didn't have a booking, but they quickly set up a table for us.
