I have been a regular at this pub now for 2 1/2 years after returning back to Telford. Many of the pub goers are not only acquaintances but petsonal friends. A true testament to the quality of people who go there as well as the excellent bar staff and a great selection of beers. Rowton Breweries always look after there regulars and welcome new ppl.

Updated modern and extremely friendly (locals?) pub. Instantly welcomed by who I can assume is the gentleman who owns the place. Would highly suggest as a completely different scenario to the general feel of Oakengates; it's out of place but in a good way. Was initially looking for food, but decided to remain as killing time and despite being on my own, enjoyed the easy-going atmosphere.

Oakengates' original real-ale freehouse. Holder of CAMRA's Golden Award, "Best Cask Beer Pub, West Midlands & Wales" in G.B.Pub Awards with an excellent wide-range of drinks. Quality music, comedy & events make it the place to visit in the area!
