We are a warm and friendly pub giving you a home away from home with a fireplace, couch, television and most importantly a range of drinks.
We also have a separate area at the back for food and private functions like birthday parties or wedding receptions. Then there is my favourite part of the pub, the decking on the river, abundant with wildlife, you can forget you are in busy town.
Great, pre covid pricing; decent atmosphere. Pints tasted clean and fine. Would come back.

Private function room hired. No cost for room. Paid for food to be made and bought drinks there. Staff really friendly and helpful. Room is ideal for a party and is child friendly. Lovely patio at the rear on the river bank. Would highly recommend it.
We used the old endeavour'function room for my husband's wake and found them absolutely amazing! They have a separate bar, toilets and a deck outside by the river. I opted for their bottomless tea and coffee station which genuinely was bottomless and the landlady was brilliant making sure we had everything we needed and all I had to pay for was the tea and coffee! The room is free! Would definitely recommend them!
