Thanks Ashleigh, you can't teach an old dog new tricks but you gave this old dog the night of his life in this pub, enhanced by your sublime limey limin of limetastic margaritas.

All are welcome in here. Dawn and James were fabulous last night with the busy Christmas rush. Can have sports on or music/karaoke nights, there's a good range of drinks/spirits and plenty of seats to relax in. A lovely looking establishment and you can feel like it's a home from home here. Close to town & Victoria Centre.

I can't speak highly enough about the Old Dog and Partridge in Nottingham. From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in the warm, friendly atmosphere. The fact that it's dog-friendly made our visit truly special. Our furry companion was the centre of attention and couldn't have been happier. The locals were incredibly kind, striking up conversations while we enjoyed our drinks. My wife with her J2O and myself with my delicious Guinness. The staff went above and beyond, not only accommodating our pup with treats and water but also displaying genuine care and hospitality. The pub itself exudes a charming traditional ambience with its wood and brass fittings, creating a cosy and inviting space. The availability of fruit machines added to the delightful experience. What really touched us was the community spirit here. When I absentmindedly left my phone behind, the locals kindly made sure I didn't forget it, returning it to me before I left. Their kindness truly saved the day for me, and I'm immensely grateful. I'll definitely be returning to this wonderful place. It's not just a pub, but a home away from home with fantastic people. Thank you for such a memorable experience 🥰

Came here with friends for drinks was welcomed straight away. Great bar service, seating across whole pub. Prices decent too. They even had free duke box night which was an added bonus. Will 100% be back.

Very much for me like a city locals bar, always a good atmosphere, was not over busy at the time, but seems to be never empty. Good for a quick drink, or a few. Drink offers also available certain times and days, overall recommended. Plays some older music, generally for the more mature crowd, recommended!
