Enjoy a warm, friendly welcome, delicious food and wine in this most beautiful old building, steeped in history, which dates back to the 1600's. Our newly converted first floor offers sumptuous hotel accommodation. The three double bedrooms (one twin), complete with en suite facilities, have sea views and are individually furnished with all the comforts of a luxury hotel.
This tranquil retreat offers magnificent views of the North Sea out to the Bellrock Lighthouse on the horizon and the hustle bustle or the harbour and marina. A favourite pastime of many of our guests to try and catch sight of the dolphins and the seals or watch the fishing boats setting out to sea early in the morning or returning at the end of the day with their catch.
Cannot comment on rooms as only went for food. Service was amazing such friendly and welcoming staff. Food was absolutely amazing, most cheese macaroni cheese I've ever had. Dog friendly also which is a massive plus. Cannot fault service at all and will definitely return again
Loved the Hotel and the staff were very helpful and the food delicious. Beautiful sea views from the room too. Cosy inside freezing and snowy outside.
Fab boutique rooms above the restaurant. Spacious with a nice sized en suite shower room. Toiletries, tea ,coffee and biscuits provided. Had a lovely meal in the Restaurant. No cask ale but the bottled Orkney Northern Light was excellent. Great food. Great rooms. Wonderful staff
Went here for a meal, there were 4 of us. I'm Coeliac. Good gluten free options. I had the fish and chips which was very good. Others also said their meals were good. Would definitely go back 😊
Food very good. Nice menu choice. Friendly and attentive staff. Booked a table for 4 and there were plenty of tables. With such a good menu, booking maybe the best way to ensure you get you table. Our only concern was that our table of 4 was right up against a table of 2 x 2 couples. We could have been spread out a bit without any problem. Those other tables were vacant all night. The next time we are in Arbroath, we'll be dining there.
