Very friendly team and decent food, which was well priced. The pub is dog friendly and has some limited parking. The ambience where we were sat wasn’t great though and felt a bit shoehorned in!
Two beef, Two turkey, super bar service today. Girl worked her socks off. Nice atmosphere in general...... Turkey was great, but both our beef eaters said it was tough to eat and chew which de marked the food stars sorry. Above all not bad at all.
Lovely 3 course / 2 course meal had for a group.of 20 people as part of our works Christmas outing really nice food, service was out standing and very warm welcome will definitely be back for another visit soon

Stayed here for the weekend and must say what a find. Really pleasant stay and place indeed. We arrived and the pub was very busy but a great atmosphere. Some customers directed us to check in and this was fast and easy. The room was modern with everything we needed and for the price was real steal at just £100 for 2 nights. We ate at the pub the first night and its was quick, lovely and very good prices. One thing I have to say is I have never sat in a more friendly pub before. The atmosphere even though busy was great all the customers were just so lovely and welcoming there was a real sense of community here. We will certainly be back and Simon the owner who we met at breakfast and all the staff need a pat on the back it really was worth very penny we paid. Great little find for us and one of our new places when in Shrewsbury
