Visited for Sunday carvery. Food was great and staff were brilliant, the carvery chef in particular. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We hugely appreciated the extra little details like going to get a cooler plate for the kids portion and seeing if our baby needed anything. Really made them stand out and will definitely visit again.

Service was absolutely outstanding, all the staff from the bar/waiting/restaurant were amazing and could not do enough to ensure your visit was special. Had a wonderful 3 course Christmas Dinner with Mum last night, food was lovely and they really looked after us. It was an early dinner and the live entertainment was just starting when we left. Definitely worth a visit.
Lovely food and friendly above and beyond service especially for my elderly parents who were celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary. The waitress could not have been more accommodating and the halloumi sizzler was a fab vegetarian option. And even a special anniversary treat from the chef. Would 100% go back.
Rather disappointing. A beautiful old thatched Inn that used to have real character, is now nothing but the front. Once you are through the door it could be any modern pub with large open plan seating areas and a modern restaurant at the rear. The menu looks good, but whilst the food is OK, it lacks depth of flavour. A very strange menu position is given to Nachos, which are billed as a side order. The portion is massive and wold make a good sharing starter or a main course for one, especially if taken with the addition of the beef chilli or chicken and chorizo. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
