Fantastic Gastro-Pub in Cookham. Lovely welcoming from the lady who served us. The pub is really cozy and super Christmassy. Food to die for: two of us went for the Christmas Menu. Two of us followed the lovely lady recommendation with steak Chateaubriand. Really good quality good, served quickly and cooked with love. Nice selection of wines as well, we opted for Primitivo Puglia to begin with than Malbec. Loved the experience and customer service at its best. Price wise just right for the high quality of food you’ll get and don’t forget this is COOKHAM!!! Strongly strongly recommended.
One of the best pub meals I’ve had in Maidenhead. The specials were to die for - the cod scotch egg, the lamb croquette and the crab. The pork belly for mains was perfect. And for dessert we loved the donuts. First class. Highly recommended. I truly enjoyed the meal.
