Comfortable single-bar local. Named after Thomas Ellement, who founded the Pinner branch of the Oddfellows Society in 1848.
Sunday lunch is served between 12-2. Regular pub quizzes in aid of the MS Society and live music. The pub garden has a large lawn and an undercover seated patio with heaters.
Beautyful place with cozy atmosphere. We loved this place. All old fellows get together and chat with a glass of beer.
I stopped going to this pub 2 years ago due to a bad experience. My friends and myself go out for a few beers every fortnight. They publicised they were open until 12pm. They decided to announce last orders at 11pm and proceeded to ask us to leave shortly after. However, it appeared they were happy for other customers to remain. I didn't appreciate the way we were treated by the staff so haven't returned back into the doors for 2 years. We now go to Wetherspoons where the drinks are 1\2 the price and the service to be much better. I recently hear this pub is experiencing financial troubles.... I wonder why ?
Nice little place that we happened upon while walking through the area. Saw the delightful backwards D on the lettering outside and had to pop in for a refreshment break, and enjoyed a nice pint of London Pride. Sadly didn't stay too long as we wanted to get back on our trek, but we do have plans to be in the area again at some point in 2023.
Staff are awesome and friendly, and one of them plays the saxophone 🎷. She's awesome. The garden in the back is huge. It's got a nice vibe there. I do wish they did food, though, but that's no problem.
They used to give us tea. They no longer give us tea. I always liked the ginger snaps. I miss the sofas we used to have. Where did the sofas go?? Pinner pub crawl needs a good place for rum tea.
