A proper pub. Not a poncy gastro pub.Five star pub food.... Pickled eggs in a packet of crisps. Along side real beers. Locals only.. it's at the top of a steep lane which deters the Waitrose set to be found elsewhere. A pub dog for company, could not be better. Perfect

Fantastic local pub. Always a warm welcome, and drinks are sensibly priced. No food, but free cheese and crackers on the bar in the afternoon. If they had a little fire or woodburner it would be perfect.

Nice real locals pub, just a tad off beaten track but easy to find and better for that, I always get a friendly welcome. Def worth a visit as part of a Falmouth crawl

Superb proper pub. Well named. Outstanding staff and clients.Made to feel really welcome. Draught ale and the best scratchings I've ever had. Can't recommend highly enough.

A pub hidden from the general public, located on the side of a steep flight of stairs near Falmouth harbour. It is pretty much a prototypical old style community boozer for the local folk to while away a lazy afternoon. The beer range is rather limited but always includes a guest ale on hand-pumps. As could be expected, the décor is nothing much to write home about, but the staff are nice and if you want to get into touch with the home folk, this is the place. It is frequented mostly by middle-aged to elderly customers, who can get a bit lively as the afternoon progresses. Mostly free of tourists (except myself).
