Booked at short notice as the Boss has got the dates wrong for our family holiday. Staff were great and accommodated the four of us with our dog 🐶 Biki. Good size comfortable warm room, great food and breakfast, friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend. Thanks for having us.
We had a wonderful stay at this pub, great room, food amazing, breakfast fab, all the staff very friendly & welcoming. We will definitely be back in the summer 😁👍
Staying in Alnwick for the night in a national chain hotel (beginning with a P). Had intentions of walking into town, with a pint in the Oaks part way. As it was a monsoon outside, we ended up staying for a couple of pints and the roast lamb, bloody lovely. The stand out though was the lovely warm welcome we received from the brown haired lass behind the bar, give her a raise, she a real asset to the Oaks.....
One night stay for business in Alnwick. Lovely homely hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. Good choice of food menu and food was delicious and service was friendly and excellent. Good range of beers and drinks at the bar. Would recommend if you ever visit alnwick.
Just had a lovely dinner at The Oaks. Menu pleasantly varied with great portion sizes. Friendly service and atmosphere. Can tell it's a community space with all ages comfortable there. Thanks for a fab meal, we've heard great things about the mint choc chip ice cream 😉
