Stayed 3 nights over the weekend. Thought I would treat us with the Deluxe Double Room with Shower, and I am glad we did. The room was just lovely, spacious, clean, and warm. Ok, very hot, even the bathroom was super hot, you definitely wouldn't freeze sleeping here. The walk-in shower was just fabulous, enough room for two. The bed was like sleeping on clouds it was soo comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They have a bar and sell food. The public toilet does need updating. The only downside is that they don't do breakfast. It's about a 15-minute walk into town and about 1 minute walk to the train station, its just over the road. They have a spacious car park. I would recommend coming here. Also, they are dog friendly too.
I can't rate the rooms as we didn't stay overnight, but the food was, and always is, lovely freshly cooked for and value for money. Lovely staff.
Food is of an excellent standard ,staff friendly and helpful reasonably priced giving real value for money Wi Fi bit dodgy in odd room and quite a difference in the rooms generally but only small gripe .... good location near enough to all destinations and well worth a visit
Ideally situated across from the railway station, it was clean & friendly, with lovely staff and delicious meals on offer. Although breakfast is no longer provided, there is a cafe and Aldi within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again.
The room was really nicely decorated with a huge bed, plenty of storage, a great bedroom and a lovely bathroom. Travelling with the dog there was plenty of space for his bed and paraphernalia. Kettle and equipment was all there too. Plus the ground floor access was perfect for our elderly dog . They were really friendly when I booked and welcoming when we arrived. We really enjoyed staying here as a base and will certainly book again to see our friends. Highly appreciated and recommended.
