Friendly, local two roomed pub. Six hand pumps, four ciders. Winner Erewash Valley Summer pub of the Year 2012. Large pub garden makes it ideal in summer. Three fires add to the atmosphere in winter. No juke box or gaming machine. Bar billiards a well used attraction. Annual beer festival at the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Close to Sawley Marina. Ideal for a quiet pint, dog friendly. The pub dates back to the 18th century and is opposite the historic Sawley Parish Church. GBG entry 2014. Brewing under the Old Sawley Brewing Company which is built on site.

Excellent, friendly pub with a micro brewery attached. Only about 10 minutes walk from Long Eaton station. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

I went to the Farmers market held on the 3rd Saturday of the month in the carpark and didn't go into the pub itself. However, the Farmers market was nice, plenty of jam, honey, sausage rolls, rum, bread, cakes, cakes, cakes, fudge and many many craft stores. Nice atmosphere, if you want to sit in the beer garden have a pint and eat lots of lovely food you can't go far wrong.

Great family and dog friendly pub! Amazing bar snacks - fresh sausage rolls, cobs and baked goods They also have on sight food vendors on the weekend - fresh pizza and Mac and wings Great selection of real ales. I’d really recommend this pub if your in the local area.

Fantastic service from a friendly family run pub. Great selection of beers. Great pizza oven with freshly made pizzas on request.

Lowest quality food that hadn't even been cooked!!! Raw mince chilli anyone? Pasta also wasn't cooked right. Sandwiches were an embarrassment that no-one had. Beer was ok, on tap soft drinks also tasted cheap. Had to buy a load of pizza from the on site wood fired pizza seller to save the party. Pizza was top notch though, handmade dough with fresh ingredients! Such a sad waste of food and life.
