Cheap and cheerful place, not bad at all for good value food, only marked down a star as some chicken bits burnt on my sons wrap meal. Dirty fries were great. Definitely would visit again

Staff really helpful, but the pub opened when drinks weren't available. Both myself and the 2 guys before me had to have their drinks delivered to the table because the pumps weren't dispensing. Biggest problem was the cold. I visited on a day when there was freezing fog and the outside temperature was -1, the heating just didn't work. I was shivering, stood it for 40 minutes and checked the radiator on the way out,it was barely tepid.

Food very good, great value, staff very friendly. I wasn't able to use my £5 off a meal for my 1st visit when I downloaded the app as the machine wasn't working .it was our two friends first time and they will definitely be back. The battered fish was lovely.

Food was fine. Prompt service. Friendly staff. 2 elements within the lounge which could be improved. 1- polite encouragement for people not to stand in the doorway smoking for 2 reasons A-unpleasant whilst eating. B-uncomfortable to walk past smokers whilst entering or leaving, could put people off visiting. 2 -The lounge where people eat with their young families is not the ideal place for groups of men to swear at the tops of their voices constantly.(why not the bar?) The ignorance is apparent when talking and short of a word they just slot in the "F" word most of the time . Happy to supply recordings and decibel readings if there is any doubt.

Like the relaxed atmosphere weather quiet or busy. Food good value for money. Landlord and staff friendly. We had the added bonus of the retronauts entertaining us. Not heard them before but would definitely see them again. They were brilliant
