Nortons Digbeth - Not another Irish Bar!

We are Nortons Digbeth, an independent bar and music venue in the Irish Quarter, Digbeth.

Our bar is operated with the typical hospitality, attention to detail and charm you'd expect from an Irish pub, and our huge 500 capacity live music venue has played home to international acts and live music festivals.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our pints, and our ability to have the craic! We have live music every weekend and show all major sports fixtures on our big beer garden screen and on TVs across the venue.

I went here a few weeks ago. Friendly staff and a good choice of drinks. Lovely outdoor seating area with heaters (I think). Great DJ on the night. However I will say I saw quite a few 18/19 year old girls that looked more than a bit drunk which is slightly concerning.

Great place staff very welcoming would highly recommend especially if like Irish music as well. Came here to watch the Celtic game. They struggled to get it on which was sorted eventually. Gave us a free drink to apologise. We will definitely be back.

Popped in for a breakfast was first class decent price and barman friendly and helpful if I lived here I’d be there every week.

I've not been inside Nortons. Just to see the Forward in Unity mural around July 2020 and it's replacement street art of King Kong in August 2023. Both pieces by Gent 48. The Jameson street art is still visible on the side of the Victorian building.

Good place, friendly staff, excellent pint of Guinness and they even out on some real ale for me which was very kind. I think the food was good but I was too tipsy to tell at the end of the session. It got a lot busier than my photos would suggest. Great supporters of Forward in Unity mural on the back wall. Quickly becoming a Digbeth landmark.
