There is in Bellingham 3 pubs and a brewery, 1 of which The Black Bull Hotel was closed. The Rose and Crown was open, so me and the people I had been walking with just went there instead, a very nice pub it is too. The 2 pints of Theakstons were very good. They had the cricket 🏏 world cup final between India 🇮🇳 and Australia 🇦🇺. On the telly, it was won by Australia 🏆🥇 It was a very nice end to a beautiful but muddy day.

This is a pub how they should be no fancy modernisation. Well used with the local community strangers entering and welcoming . Cosy log burners ales and wines kept and served perfect don't know if food is available. Brilliant friendly staff make you one of the regulars . If I lived in this lovely village, Bellingham the Rose and Crown would definitely be my local.

I was in Bellingham for the Darksky National Park when I visited the Rose & Crown. There was a lovely atmosphere, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming, lots of space in a well presented pub, clean and comfortable seating and reasonable prices. Great place all together. Hope to visit again

Proper Pub with Fabulous & generous portions of food, Very friendly & very accommodating , There was only the 3 of us wanting to watch a game of rugby & they put it on without hesitation xx

Lovely building. No real ale. SPorts tv and banging tunes in old trad pub . Weird combo. Not so inviting service without frills / smiles. Could do with some TLC
