Wetherspoons. Nice looking, converted cinema. Very big and rather draughty. Plenty tables, but understaffed. Food and drink cheap and plentiful. If it was a girl, I would describe her as all fur coat and née knickers. Can say I've been there, but won't go again
It's what you'd expect from spoons. Cheap cheerful, the place is clean the food well its spoons but ever time we have breakfast here the eggs are always perfect runny yolks crispy bacon. Perfect Sunday hangover breakfast 😋
Probably my most impressive Spoons. Well done that man (who can shoot himself in the foot occasionally) for rescuing a classic art deco building. Mr Spoon also needs a cheer for cheap food and booze for the people. 2 good guest ales and the regulars. Brilliant carpet. Fabulous attention to the restoration period details. Puts Blyth on the map. Is it in the Camera Heritage guide? If not, it should be.
An absolutely amazing place! Wetherspoons food is OK but excellent value. This was a picture house and the Art Deco style is just stunning. Excellent service and great value, atmosphere lovely too!
The building is surprisingly beautiful and they have managed to keep the feel of an old cinema whilst modernising it! The disabled facilities were accessible and clean. Where this place let's itself down is in atmosphere. There's no atmosphere, or background music. Whilst we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the building we were not so much with the staff and service.
