The hotel is warm and welcoming but it is Sean who makes the stay once-in-a-lifetime great. He blusters a bit but it quickly becomes clear that he cares about his life callings, one of which are us, his guests. We came in during the course of a huge storm and we pestered him with questions about safely crossing and he was clear, steady, and truthful. Also - the breakfast!
Very last minute booking for this impromptu overnight stay but the best decision ever. I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting Holy Island and I couldn’t recommend Lindisfarne hotel enough. Sean was amazing and very helpful advising all the best spots to go to at the right time. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. Perfect rooms - had everything you needed. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Sean!
We had a great family visit with Sean and Jackie. Super hosts who are very helpful and gave lots of local information. The rooms are large, good showers and a fantastic breakfast.We will certainly return. Located in the centre so very convenient. The causeway was great fun for adults as well as the children the children loved catching crabs and going onto the beach at Bambrugh from the quiet car park Sean knows.
We both really enjoyed our stay on Lindesfarne and so glad we booked The Lindesfarne Hotel. Sean is an excellent host and made our stay so special. Our room was very comfortable and had everything you would need.The breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended this Hotel and we will definitely return again.
We were here for one night recently and had a fantastic stay. We were in room 12 on the ground floor, although at the front of the hotel we weren’t disturbed at all by noise and it had the most comfortable four poster bed. Sean is lovely and does a great breakfast, he was happy for us to park in the car park as soon as we arrived although well before check in and to leave our car there for a little while after check out. We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to others.
