About us

The Lord Nelson is a cosy single bar traditional village pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a free house owned for many years by Michael and his wife. Real ale is well catered for with popular national ales as permanent residents and local rotating guest brews. There is much to commend the Lord Nelson regarding entertainment with weekly music jamming sessions and a Karaoke night once a month on a Sunday.

Sat outside because of restrictions. Moved under shelter when the heavens opened. 😂The bar staff were brilliant still happy and cheerful serving us in the rain. Sadly now closed😢.

Not very friendly. Stared at when we drove into the car park and none of the staff look happy to be there. Such a shame as it could be such a beautiful village pub with the right owners.
