We poped in for a hot drink, the loverly lady did not charge us.she said she was making one for herself so we could have one too. Would just like to thank her again.
Very local pub. Offers basic food at attractive prices. Sufficient choice of beers. sky Sports available.
Went there every night with my friend, great music, staff, prices, and especially the beers. The only downside is they closed early, my pub does not close till 12 pm at weekends, 11pm through the week. But not all do in the North East. Till next time.
The pike and eel is a really nice bar, very spacious with a good allocation of space for the main room and the side room where the darts boards and a pool table reside. Staff are friendly, the site is clean, prices are what you can expectfrom any pub in 2022, i had newcastle brown ale and coke which i paid about £3.30 and £3.60 for respectively. The outside decking area is nice considering many places do not let you leave the building with your glass in tow, so fresh air and the chance to smoke a ciggy is appreciated.
A wonderful community family pub with a park on its doorstep with childrens play equipment. Bev, her staff and customers are great
