Our Opening Times
Our bar is open from 5pm on Monday & Tuesdays, 4.30pm on Wednesdays, and from 12pm for the rest of the week, serving drinks until late.
Our food is served 5pm - 7.30pm on Wednesdays, and Thursday - Saturday 12pm - 7.30pm.
On Sundays our food is served 12pm - 4pm.

We came here for a Pre-Christmas treat for myself, partner and our puppy. This little Gem more than exceeded expectations! We started off with the 3 for £16 starters (see pictured - Haddock Goujons, King Prawns and Caprese Salad) followed by 2 Suet Beef Pies, and finished off with a home made Chocolate and Caramel Brownie. Each Course was deliciously home made and gets 5 stars from us. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, with each other aswell which is lovely to see, a Team that treats each other like family. Our main lady was wonderful, she had us feeling like locals in no time! With dogs allowed aswell, you can bring the whole family. Our pup was treated to a little punnet of biscuits as we ate! Which we thought was a lovely touch. But you could see he fancied the beef! We will definitely be returning to the Gnu Inn to try the Spring/Summer Menu, this is a fine example of how a village pub is run. Thank you for our meal! X

Me and my mum came here for Sunday lunch at the weekend, we were very impressed, it was gorgeous home cooked food. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming will definitely be returning :)
Just been for Sunday lunch for the first time here and it was really really nice ! Huge portions and of meat too even cauliflower cheese came with the lunch and great proper tasting gravy which always makes a Sunday lunch but so many lack doing good gravy !! Good choice of meats we both plumped for loin of pork with stuffing and cracking done to perfection.. Lovely friend staff and owners as well ! Far too full for a pudding but it’s £18 for two courses which is a great price especially in these times so big tick all round and our new fave local …
