Popped in New Years Eve for a meal. Been here a few times before and had the carvery. Always plenty of space with friendly staff and great food. Would recommend.
Wow 😯 seriously massive portions...value for money is astounding....the puddings..OMG!! This was our boxing day meal. £18.99 3 course meal...god we were silly to think we could handle this! One pudding would happily do two people 😄
Lovely friendly place, great staff. We had 3 meals here as we stayed at the travel lodge opposite. Breakfast was lovely but poaches eggs were hard, need to have a better system for hot drinks as cannisters didn't keep water hot. Beautiful carvery Sunday tea time ;) yummy
To a new place the people are welcoming and felt like we have known the people years the food was beautiful for low prices the only thing we didn't like was the John Smiths taste it was watered down and fizzy and bitter isn't supposed to be fizzy so don't no why it was other than that everything was perfect the large carvery was mine £10.9 and the farmhouse mixed grill was the hubby's £16.49 he said best steak he had tasted and was cooke to how he wanted it xx
I had a Sunday Carvery and my husband had a pie off the normal menu. I queued for so long for my meal that my husband had eaten his meal by the time I arrived back at the table. Both our meals were lovely but we probably won't return on a Sunday.
