We have a great reputation for quality food and drink. During the day The Slug And Lettuce York is a family friendly hub for breakfasts, lunches and coffee. In the evening we transform into a vibrant cocktail bar and a great meeting place for those after-work drinks. We also have a beer garden ideal for relaxing afternoons.
Enjoyed the S&L prosecco as a birthday treat. Holly served me , most efficiently at the bar. She then served our bubbly at our table. What fantastic service. Our bottle of fizz came complete with "firework" and our flutes were garnished with fresh strawberry. Does it get any better? Winning "smile"/wonderful service from Holly. Thank you. Magical.
Came in for a brunch with friends. Liv was our server and what a lovely experience it was. Very pleasant and cheerful personality with efficient service.
Went for Bottomless Brunch around Christmas, the venue (Slug and Lettuce Riverside) was packed and our server Becka was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive and made sure we were well looked after! For service alone I couldn’t recommend enough
I ordered the plant based brunch with an added fried egg and it was delicious! The slow roasted tomatoes, the vegan sausages and focaccia bread were very good. Only downside would be that the music inside the place was a bit too loud. Helpful staff, good prices and good vegan options. I highly recommend it 👍🏼
Amazing experience, our servers Alicia and Emilia @ York Riverside were fabulous!! Wonderful ladies, amazingly service and kept our drinks flowing as much as we needed! Will definitely return ASAP!!
