The Royal Oak Inn is a truely fabulous village pub with more charm and character than you could ever wish to shake a stick at. A wonderful cellar and bottled drinks are on offer, but if its food you're after then you are in for a real treat. We had the homemade pasta dishes; Pumpkin Ravioli with Curry Butter, & the Strozzapreti with Boar Ragu..... each was so fresh and packed with flavour. For afters, Raspberry Tiramisu..... toptastic. Thank you all @ T.R.O.I, we'll be back for more.
Really great customer service, very warm & friendly. Due to unforeseen problem, they were closing, just as we arrived; obviously in need of refreshments after a long walk. Yet they allowed us to buy our drinks & sit in the garden, offering to make sandwiches too. Even brought out free ice creams for the kids. Nice touch, thank you
Excellent food and beer in warm surroundings. Specials board and some interesting Italian dishes.
Excellent in every way, you wont be disappointed, service second to none and the best food and beers on offer, don't miss this gem hidden away in the Howardian hills.
We enjoyed an excellent dinner at The Royal Oak, Wednesday 27 August 2014. Even though we arrived late, the welcome we received was genuine and the service, food and wine were all faultless. This place is something special!
