Came here for a wake the food was perfect all home made. The service was so friendly and at the end the manager couldn't of been more helpful. I'm not from this area but it left such a lovely impression of everyone.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. This hotel is brilliant. Owners and staff so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t do enough for us. Top class breakfast. Spotless. Well organised. Currently undergoing renovation, even the workmen were friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back.
Maggie, Katie and the team were fantastic during the planning of our wedding and the day itself was everything we wanted and more. Every detail, every query was dealt with professionalism and in a friendly manner that put us at ease on our special day. The chef, Jack, was happily chatting with us the day before the wedding during setup and our guests are still talking about his incredible food almost two weeks later. We can't wait to return to The Angel to try more from the menu. We also loved seeing the girls behind the bar having a dance and a bit of fun during the reception, the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you all very much, a day we will never forget!
First class Hotel and venue, this is our second visit the first was for Sunday lunch which was a truly tasty meal large Yorkshire puddings,generous sl8ces of meat and large side dishes to compliment. The second visit was for a wedding,everything was above and beyond, the venue,the food ,the staff were all very very good. I really do recommend The Angel wheter its for Sunday lunch or something else. Well done The Angel.
