DUNCAN OAKLEY

Duncan Oakley has been a musician since the age of six, has performed on the UK comedy circuit since 1999, appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on BBC Radio 4 and at many summer festivals as well as starring in Beat24's feature film 'Frontman' and short film 'Read Between the Signs' With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars - Maurice (Fender Strat), No.7 (acoustic) or his Les Paul (the Lezza) by his side. With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life Duncan musters up songs that not only make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you a humming tune with a smile on your face 3 days later, confused and wondering where it’s come from.

Welcome to the world of Duncan Oakley.

BRENNAN REECE

Brennan Reece is a bright young rising star who burst onto the comedy scene after winning ‘English Comedian of the Year’ in 2015. The following year, he was nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for his sell-out debut show ‘Everglow’.

Brennan is becoming a regular on screens across the UK having recently filmed LIVE AT THE APOLLO (BBC), COMEDY CENTRAL AT THE COMEDY STORE (Comedy Central), THE STAND UP SKETCH SHOW (ITV), ROAST BATTLE (Comedy Central) and LIFE LESSONS (BBC).

His energetic and awkward approach to life is captured in his fast paced, vividly painted and humorous stories. His unique style has secured him two stints at Melbourne Comedy Festival, seen him have two further sell-out Edinburgh shows and he has supported huge comedy talent on tour, including Joe Lycett, Nick Offerman and Rob Brydon.

COKEY FALKOW as MC

“Comedy doesn’t get better than this!” Cape Times

Since starting in the late 90s, Cokey Falkow established himself as one of South Africa’s edgier stand-up acts. Appearing at a wide variety of clubs and numerous international comedy festivals, he gathered a cult following. This led to 3 national one-man tours for which Cokey received critical acclaim at Grahamstown National Arts Festival.

Cokey was then flown to London to perform in the South African Comedy Festival in London which ran at the Riverside studio theatre in Hammersmith for 5 weeks. Cokey also produced international comedy festivals in his home town of Durban where he introduced Russell Peters to South Africa.

As his stand-up progressed so too did Cokey’s television career. After a number of appearances on local soaps and sitcoms he went on to host ‘Big City,’ a magazine style, primetime show for which Cokey won a best presenting award (Avanti Award – SA’s equivalent of an Emmy/BAFTA). He also picked up award nominations for co-writing and starring in the country’s cult late nite hit comedy sketch program The Pure Monate Show, including ‘Best Ensemble Cast’ and ‘Best Writing in a Comedy Series’.

Cokey has worked extensively filming both worldwide commercial campaigns and a wide array of supporting roles in international film. In 2008 he was nominated as best supporting actor in a feature film (SAFTA’s 09) for his role as “Alfonso “ the ginger albino serial killer in quirky South African comedy “Big Fellas.” After appearing in Starship Troopers and NCIS, Cokey is now best known internationally for his role as El Aleman in Robert Rodriguez and Robert Orci’s Matador.

After 6 years in the US, where he played The Comedy Store regularly and was well known on the improv circuit, Cokey moved from LA to the UK in late 2014 and is hitting the UK comedy circuit hard in 2015.
