A former social club now open to all, offering a warm welcome to locals and tourists alike. This comfortable bar is to be found situated on the first floor via a door opposite the Atlas Taxi office. The bar plays host to a number of indoor sports teams as well as a Sunday football team. Most major sports events are shown on TV. Live music plays on some Saturdays. Parking is available at a nearby Car Park or time limited on-street (both P&D). Children are welcome until 7.30pm.

Husband loves it! So it's good for me as I get rid of him twice a week to play pool😉
Found by accident but a great little place with sports TV's, pool table, dartboard. Guy behind the bar was particularly helpful and friendly, putting Rugby league on TV for us. Oh and not forgetting the main thing, nice selection of drinks including a couple of real ales.

A busy,two-roomed,town centre local with spacious eating area. Food is served evenings only ( except for Sunday lunchtime )
