The Turks Head is a Grade II listed building located midway between the main shopping precinct and the South beach. This pub has three rooms,each on a different level with the upstairs games room providing a panoramic view of the South bay. During summer, meals can be obtained from the next door cafe and consumed in the beer garden. Live entertainment features Thursday to Sunday evenings all year round.

Great local pub, locals are friendly, music good, price's good and nice and warm. Good stop off on the way up the hill.
Great place, went in to watch football 5 mins before kick off. They turned it on straight away, was accommodating and the person behind the bar was funny with a bit of banter. Beer was the best I've seen in years. Less than 4quid a pint
Old favourite when in the area, always pay a visit. Clean, freindly public house with fantastic outside seating if wish. Very competetavely priced. Friendly locals
Would have minus 5 stars if possible. Just left after witnessing junkie borrowing credit card off one of the girls with him, taking it to the toilet and using for taking a line. (This I know as when he came back, said to one of his friends 'Need loo as that line's gone straight through me). Also two gentlemen we were talking to went into the toilet and found the card with remnants of white powder and handed to lady behind bar who turned a blind eye. Will not return which is a shame as this used to be a good pub, horse racing, sports etc. Unfortunately the only sport now is 'recreational' drug taking with nothing done about it.
The Turks Head has recently been renovated. Staff are polite and work quickly (good thing as it can get quite full) It is a nice pub with good beer and cheap prices (John Smiths £2.10). The pub has a beer garden to the rear with a nice sea view. Well worth a visit if you are passing by or just fancy a libation. :-). Also it is dog friendly always a bonus.
