Friendly and welcoming pub. We were seated immediately although we hadn’t booked. Plenty of free parking. Dogs welcome.
Called in for food today last minute. Staff very accommodating and great with the kids who were tired and getting impatient. Service was quick and food was delicious. Had some good banter with the waitresses. Definitely be back
Went here prior to Xmas with the Ryedale naturist club. It was a nice evening. The food was good. The staff were helpful. It was busy and from I have seen previously there are always people there. It it also part of a camp site. Not far from Flamingoland or Eden camp museum. Good access to York.
Our first visit Saturday 9th December to the Black Bull I booked a table for 4 people, we had to wait for friends who where late,but the staff were patient, helpful and friendly. The meal was excellent and all the staff provided us with superb service. What a wonderful find ,will definitely be going again. Simon
Had a lovely sunday lunch here. Got the Yorkshire pudding tin loaf. Was amazing. Really nice atmosphere.Lovely service all round. Would definitely come again.
