Landlord always welcoming and pleasant. Fantastic local pub and lovely home cooked food. Huge beer garden with plenty of space for kids to play on slide and climbing frames as well as enough room for football with kiddies. Staff always helpful and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere and the Woodfest on bank Holidays are a must!!
The best pub in Wakefield. Puts all the pubs in town to shame. Fantastic staff, superbly kept beer. Great atmosphere. A really welcoming pub.
Great pub, great family atmosphere with a play area and large space for the kids. Bar staff are real friendly and take time to chat even when busy. Drinks are fairly priced. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Only had a pork pie but it was really good
We hired the marquee for our sons birthday party again. Great place to let the kids enjoy the beer garden play area and add your own bouncy castle and party food. Very helpful and having another in September.
