Very friendly and welcoming pub. Surprisingly comfy seats and a warm fire. The pool table is in good condition and well positioned so that there is little to no obstruction. There is a spacious beer garden out the rear and a sheltered smoking area. All in all a great place to go for a drink.

Great couple who run it! Really welcoming and such a friendly pub for yourselves and kids. Remember what you order. Lots of entertainment on a weekend (and not just from the locals). When I had my kitchen done they unfortunately weren’t serving food but were happy for me to bring something in and eat in the pub which I found a blessing for me and my child! Couldn’t fault it

Liked this pub. Had a Guinness as not a vast selection of beers choices for my taste. Unsure if it does food. Would visit again.

Great Dog friendly pub, staff were very helpful and attentive, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced, they managed to get a stake on the mixed grill a perfect medium. Highly recomended

Just popped in for a quick drink but ended up having 2. The place has just been taken over , so I don't know what it was like before , but the owner's were friendly and the old local we got talking to was full of knowledge , who got on great with my partner as she went there in the 70s. Good prices give it a go if your passing , don't think they do food at the moment ... But I could be wrong.
