Excellent small find if you love local real ale
I've never had food here, just a beer. I've never had a bad pint and it's always at a good price. Pleasant staff and always busy, you just may have a problem finding a seat.
The first word that comes to mind is 'quality', as in the ales on offer. The second word is 'friendly', as in service and surroundings. A cosy secret little corner I keep returning to for a quality experience. Thanks
Cosy micro pub, with a good selection of ales including some from local micro breweries, as well as the bigger local breweries. Nice little outside area for when the weather is good. Only downside is having to go out and up some stairs for the toilet, which lets the cold in and makes the seating next to the door a chilly spot in cold weather.
