A popular locals pub with local sport teams well looked after by the pub through sponsorship. The curry night on Thursday evening is the only food the pub does and is well attended. An ideal visit for the coverage of football on the TV. Local breweries are well supported.

Very nice pub, friendly staff and excellent ales. Have only been there late afternoons after work so can't speak for other times.
A large friendly pub with several TV's showing sports. There are about 5 hand pumps available, but only 3 were active on my last visit. I tried the Great Newsome and the Wold Top, which were on good form. Certainly worth revisiting.
Welcoming, traditional old pub with friendly staff. Small selection of local beers as well as usual big brands. Home cooked food.

Great pub, nice atmosphere and excellent staff. In a great location not far from the town's centre. Recently started hosting the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club on the second Saturday of each month!
