Girls night out with food. Meal was really nice. Good portions and the cocktails helped round up a great night.

Food has gone down hill, was chewing on a med rare steak for days. This is a bogoff place. However you pay full price as a main course is priced very expensive. Quality does not warrant the price.

Been having breakfast in driffield for years. Never gone that side of roundabout. Did not know it was there. In future my first choice for breakfast first class in every area. Love it xx

Absolutely lovely although a lot of stairs rooms are fantastic and breakfast was great very friendly staff very quirky

Stayed here for one night on the 11th August and was our third visit to Hotel 41. The room was nice enough, but for the price we expected it to have a higher standard of cleanliness. There were lots of areas that needed dusting and I could see obvious signs where dusting had taken place and where it hadn't. Mainly around the bed and floor edges, where dust had accumulated. The fixtures in the bathroom, the towel rail/shelf specifically was loose and subsequently hung at an angle from the wall. There was no other shelf other than the small one above the sink, so nowhere to store toiletries or a toiletry bag other than on the floor. The shower was fantastic however, very big and the water was nice and hot. The bathroom was very clean too. The wall mounted TV was wonky so I ended up having to straighten it up. The Sky remote seemed very well used and would only function correctly when pointed at a particular angle, which became pretty frustrating in the end. Whilst tea and coffee facilities were present, trying to fill the kettle from the sink was difficult because of the placement of the tap and the height of the kettle. The room was exceptionally warm so we had to open the windows which unfortunately meant we had to endure the noise from the pub opposite and the drunken shenanigans of pubgoers at closing time.....along with passing traffic etc. So despite the lovely superking sized bed we ended up having a fairly broken nights sleep. Air conditioning would be a great addition to the room. Other than that we enjoyed the room and nevertheless would stay there again because it's probably the best place to stay in Driffield. We've tried the other hotel 🫤 The evening meal we had was pretty good and a good portion size too. Very filling. The only complaint my wife had was that the flatbread part of her steak flatbread was crispy as opposed to being soft. It was very crispy to the point she had to break it with her fingers rather than cut through it. Which was a shame because everything else was great. The service was excellent too. The full English breakfast was missing the advertised black pudding ☹️. I love black pudding so it was disappointing not to see it on my plate. The toast was not very well toasted and the whole breakfast could have been hotter. The ingredients were good. Lovely bacon and so was the single sausage. I'd have liked 2 especially given how much they charge for a breakfast as a standalone item. Of course it was included in the cost of our stay though. All in all we would stay again and would recommend it. We just think a little with more care and attention to detail, it would be a fantastic place to stay rather than above average. Especially given the cost.
