Our home cooked food available on our menu is all made from ingredients that are fresh and sourced locally. As members of Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) we strive to stock the best ales available.
The Norman Warrior has been listed in the Good Beer Guide every year since 2007, and has been CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2008 and 2010 and were runners up in 2009. We are also Beach Radio Pub of the Year.
Our pub has an extensive car park with 50 spaces, a lounge bar, public bar, large beer garden and terrace. We also run the Lowestoft Beer Festival over August Bank Holiday each year.

The real ale, as always, was well kept and in top condition. The pub was busy with a nice atmosphere. I tried one of the pizzas from the menu. This is a new range so the first time I had one. I tried the Ham and Shroom. Really delicious and highly recommended. Most enjoyable evening.

We've been here several times in the past for meals with friends. The choices on the menu are getting less and less. We've been told in the past that there is no need to book a table. We had friends staying for the weekend and they suggested coming here for a meal and drinks as we have in the past. We visited on Saturday 7/11/23 at 19.40 only to find the restaurant was locked. On enquiring in the bar we were told it had been cleaned and would not be opened. We were offered the chance to eat in the bar but as this was quite noisy with pool tables, kids shouting and the fact that there were no empty tables we refused as we could'nt eat and drink or talk in peace. We left, disappointed. We won't be coming back.
We held our wedding lunch at the Norman Warrior recently. The staff were all very friendly , the food was great too. Very reasonably priced drinks, lovely beer garden, great size restaurant. What more could we ask for. Thanks Shaun, we appreciated everything you arranged for us and for the staff being so kind and helpful.
Very nice afternoon spent having food and drinks in busy beer/ family garden.(American fun day) Plenty to keep kids occupied. Good entertainment by singers and friendly atmosphere, kids face painting and Disney characters for photos with the kids.
