A large market town with everything you need, alot of shops on the outskirts including b&m homebargains Iceland, sainsbury and more
The Thetford Train station consists of two platforms that goes on the Breckland Line between Cambridge and Norwich and the long-distance line between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich. I've found this train station to be okay for what it is, I do find it a little tricky to go up the stairs to get to the other side especially when its icy or snow but there doesn't seem to be an alternative to get to the other side. I've also had my bike stolen from here before, so I would definitely be cautious about leaving your bike here as the CCTV cameras do not point towards the bike area.
the station was lovely and with some historical architecture but some of the train were overcrowded on busy days and quite dirty.
Great station
Station seems well enough with shelter, seating and step free access on both sides. There's a car park provided on the Ely bound platforms as well as a ticket office open until the early afternoon.
