Great atmosphere with good food and a wide range of beers. Pub on the river bank and near to the railway station. Friendly staff and recommend for sports coverage.

8/10- a quirky layout with character and brill location next to the river. Clean with good staff and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. SPECIAL thanks to MANAGER Andy.

Fantastic pub for drinks, lunch or dinner (or all!). It is situated on the river by the bridge, so it has amazing views. The atmosphere here is always lovely, with friendly regulars and amazing staff. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food is absolutely delicious! I can see why this was one of my dad's favourite pubs ❤️ Live music on specific nights, which is always very good. Can't recommend the Compleat Angler enough... definitely go!!

Undistinguished Greene King pub in a lovely location, directly adjacent to the canal and diagonally opposite of Norwich Station (3 mins). While the outside seating and the setting itself are excellent, this pub doesn't really show a lot of commitment to the variety of cask ales. GK 101, and not much more. Good enough for a quick (half-) pint on a stopover in Norwich, but no more.

A nice place for a pint before taking the train. If you have time take a walk along the adjoining River. And if you are there while the sun recedes you will get some beautiful pictures too.
