Food all over vegetable counter, very dirty. Very tight on the meat, thin slice of gammon, fatty bit of gammon with hard cartridge, turkey was OK but again only 2 little slices, for £60 spent better to go elsewhere, I would not recommend especially with little meat offering. Mashed potatoes hardly any left, roast potoes raw, stuffing soggy and raw(not cooked) Please save your money.
The place is nice overall but the Sunday carvery was below average. Comparing it to the toby would be an easy choice, the food was tough and tastless. Had the set menu in the past and that was OK but the carvery seems like a school dinner, meat was dry and roast veggies seemed like plastic. Though on the outside and mushy on the inside. Wouldn't visit again but if I did I'd use the set menu and leave the carvery where it is. Service was great and staff pleasant but apart from that have alot more local options for better dining.
Called in after ten pin bowling across the road. A very enjoyable roast and very good value.
Great, tasty carvery. Always choose here for a carvery. There is a soft play for children too
From start to finish the service, the food, the dining experience was superb. The food was good, prompt and a great choice. A large menu choice to cater for all tastes, this place is certainly worth a visit. The location was Atmospheric, Christmassy and really inviting. I look forward to visiting again soon Great work all.
