Had a lovely Sunday lunch, with friends everyone enjoyed it can't fault it
We went here with friends for a meal and we were not disappointed, lovely food, good service and very friendly, would definitely recommend and will go again 😀
Fantastic stay, made very welcome by Sue and the staff. The Bull inn is a nice relaxed friendly quiet Inn which has a nice small dining area next to the bar and a separate restaurant part also, we just had drinks as we arrived 9pm ish and Sue kindly offered to make us some chips as they had stopped serving meals at 8pm (which were the best thick cut chips we have ever had and wished we had ordered more!). Drinks very reasonably priced and can be put on your room tab to be paid at check out (as can food). Lovely clean rooms which are up a flight of stairs not connected to the main building so nice and quiet with plenty of tea/coffee/bottled water. There are also ground floor rooms with parking outside for guests needing accessible rooms. Breakfast is also included (Sue asks when you check in what time you require it), we were 30 mins earlier than we had booked but this was no trouble for Sue who got us seated and took our order which is a lovely full english breakfast or eggs on toast (poached or scrambled). Both breakfast can easily be tailored ie my wife had bacon with the eggs on toast and my son had a small full English, toast was also provided with a selection of jams, all were delicious and complemented with a glass bottle of orange juice on your table and your choice of hot drinks. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
Lovely owners and staff. Wonderful home cooked food. Rooms basic but clean. Only problem was 6 french men there for shooting pigeons were outside from 6 am smoking and making a lot of noise. Asked them nicely to reduce the noise, they just laughed!
We stayed at the Bull Inn, Litcham 23rd May as we went to my Son's Wedding at Godwick Hall. The Inn is a lovely old building with lots of character, a proper English pub. From the moment we arrived, Sue and Clive welcomed us as honoured special guests and nothing was too much trouble. Check In was swift and easy and she provided my Uncle with fresh milk to put in his room fridge for his essential cups of tea which he's very fussy about. We came back from the Wedding at 7pm and as the Inn can get busy, She had reserved a table for the four of us to ensure we had somewhere to sit in case we came back early which was lovely. When we went out for a cigarette Sue came out to chat to us, she is a lovely lady! The food is excellent home cooked fare and there's plenty of it. Breakfast was cooked to perfection with proper 'Mummy Cut' toast and lovely locally sourced ingredients. I cannot not express enough how welcoming Sue and Clive are, and highly recommend The Bull Inn as a friendly, welcoming beautiful place to stay A*****
