Had a lovely meal at the Feathers over the festive period, could not fault it. We were away in our touring caravan, so unfortunately it is a long way from where we live....just wished it was on our doorstep, would love this to be pur local!
We came to The Feathers for Christmas Day lunch and it was outstanding. We weren't rushed at all and the food was exceptional, we were so full by the end. For Christmas Day the price was good value as well
Great place to stay while visiting Sandringham - only 3 minutes away in the car. Lovely clean room and good size - free parking. Lovely meal in a busy bar. Loved the cheery atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast. Loved it here 😍
Where to begin? The website is a lot of hogwash - balconies overlooking tropical beach and fusion restaurant! But we thought perhaps the newly refurbished and boutique rooms were plausible. No. The room we were in appeared to have been decorated back in the 1970s. The bed would benefit from a topper and the ensuite from an update. There was also a very strong smell of cleaning fluid in the room. We wondered if ours was just not done yet but sadly we asked other guests and they had hoped the same. No one to check us in and when finally someone did appear, after being fetched by a young member of staff, she was as miserable as sin. We didn't eat there although it appeared popular. At breakfast the waitress wore plastic gloves and was very abrupt. Even though there were only us and two other guests we could only sit where she wanted us to! We were booked for two nights but called it a day after one. The amazing thing was they only charged us for one - an astounding bonus. Overall an expensive mistake on our part we will not return.
Brilliant pub with fantastic food and service. We had a lovely evening meal at the Feathers the landlord and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a pleasant one even to the point of making sure we got back to our campsite safely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this family friend pub with excellent food and service.
