We are open all day for drinks have four locally selected Guest Beer's which are sold alongside premium draught lager and a carefully selected wine list and a selection of local Gins.
With 2 AA Rosettes and recently awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2020 we serve a seasonal lunch and evening menu, plus a great value fixed price menu, using only the best locally sourced produce.
We have sunny tranquil Alfresco areas to the rear and front of the Pub overlooking the Village Green and Church. In Winter a roaring fire and muddy paws and walking boots are most welcome.

Had a very lovely meal at the charity quiz night, our Waitress Niamh was wonderful and attentive, she provided good service from start to finish. The food was great as we're the drinks and the quiz money raised went to a very good cause.
We have just had my sons 40th birthday lunch. I would first and foremost like to thank JADE and her staff for making it a memorable time. There were 40 people eating and drinking and it all went off without a hitch. Everyone commented that the atmosphere and decor was lovely. the food and drink was excellent. We all had a memorable time. Just to say a big thank you to Jade for all her hard work and help in arranging the lunch.
Wow, what a lovely place to stay. Every member of staff were so welcoming and friendly, the library room was perfectly set out and just where we needed to be to have a relaxing stay. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast was plentiful.
Service and location is great, but the food is massively overpriced and bellow average. Tripled cooked chips were still raw and crunchy in the middle, a glass of beer was dirty. Sunday menu prices are adjusted so the average per guest is “discounted” to £28 for two courses. Weird calculation on our receipt came to £18.69 for a bellow average fish and chips, £8.31 for a lemon posset. According to the summer menu the prices should be £18 and £8 so their “discounted” Sunday lunch is actually more expensive than the other menus.
Came for dinner at the restaurant. Food was nice, although the portions are certainly on the small side. The duck leg and lamb rump were great. The restaurant was understaffed. The staff was helpful and friendly but was running around and did not have time to quickly take an order or even check if we wanted more drinks. Twice they served the table next to us without even giving us a chance to order drinks despite me trying to flag the waitress. The third time I just shouted. We ended up not ordering dessert due to it taking too long for them to actually take the order after finally getting dessert menus.
