About us

We look forward to welcoming you back to our lovely hotel. We’ve put into place some enhanced health, safety and cleanliness procedures so we can provide you with a safe, relaxing stay. So whether you’re visiting Great Yarmouth for a holiday, short break or an overnight business trip, the staff at the 4 Star Prom Hotel will make you very welcome.

We have 50 comfortable bedrooms – many with views of the beach and Great Yarmouth’s famous Golden Mile – a spacious public bar serving food all day, a stylish AA Rosette restaurant “Strollers”, a lift to all main floors, a dedicated breakfast room and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

We are very lucky to have a great position on the seafront. All our sea view rooms have double glazing though to help with any adverse noise from our surroundings.

But our superb facilities are just part of the story. We also have incredibly friendly staff, who will help to make your stay a truly memorable one.

What a beautiful hotel. I was there with a coach as I am a Coach Hostess. My pax had drinks and mince pies waiting for them on arrival where they had a welcome speech, room keys issued and also the evening meal choices were taken. It was lovely chill time for them as delayed due to being stuck in accident traffic. The hotel was very understanding and helpful when I was ringing new ETA times. Whilst pax munching their mince pies, their cases were finding their way to their rooms thanks to the porterage. The food was excellent with a choice of 3 dishes on each part of the meal. Breakfast was self service again with a wide variety from cereals, fresh fruit, continental, and hot food. Rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated and had your usual coffee tray. We were only there for one night but I am back again next week with another tour. This hotel is very highly recommended... Staff are all smart in appearance, polite and helpful and could not do enough for you. If ye are gaein tae Yarmouth ..... this is the hotel tae book

I booked Sunday to Friday phoned hotel direct booked premier room with balcony and sitting room paid £150 per night including breakfast which I thought was expensive .but thought oh well it will be a nice room .when I arrived was given just a basic room .I went down to complain. and was told they will contact us to change rooms of course it never .happened .was also told breakfast was buffet style. Well it was for one morning and after that you had to order .just be aware when you book at this hotel check your getting what you pay for. It certainly wasn't worth £150 per night

100% recommend. Excellent service and delicious food. Popped in for a quick pint. The service was excellent. All the staff were very smart, seemed very happy, and acknowledged me, even though there was a wait at the bar. They were very friendly, chatty and certainly made you feel welcome. The atmosphere had a busy friendly buzz about it. The toilets were immaculate. We ordered some food and were very impressed. We just had the sandwiches which not only looked amazing when they came out, but also tasted delicious. So much so, we went back the next day to try something different and were equally impressed. To the management and the team - Keep up the great work.

This review concerns the pub section of the establishment, the "Pub on the Prom" (Hotel). Very nice, well-kept venue on the Yarmouth seafront. The cask selection isn't huge, but I easily found a beer I liked for lunch (Sharp's Hazy IPA). The menu isn't very extensive either - one full page on food - and the prices aren't the cheapest for what is essentially "pub grub" - BUT, it's good pub grub, as the fish & chips I ordered turned out to be very good indeed. Decent portion, crispy and flaky, and for once the chips weren't undercooked and flabby, as they often are even at regular restaurants (and indeed most fish & chips shops) in Britain. I enjoyed my food very much, I enjoyed my drink, and more than anything else I enjoyed sitting on the terrace, biding my time, and looking out to the sea. Got quite busy at noon, but I got drinks and food in good time. Service was friendly and efficient. Very clean and modern toilets, too! Will visit again if possible.
