Stayed here for 2 nights over New Years. We'd wanted to stay after being a few times for drinks and food, and it didn't disappoint. Staff were brilliant, food and drink was as always top notch. We stayed over with my 6 year old son and with our pet dog and the whole establishment couldn't have made us feel more welcomed if they tried. Will be back.

We went here for a friend’s birthday dinner and it was a great find. Friendly staff, a warm welcome and cosy fires in the bar and restaurant. On the day of visiting the weather was beastly with flooded roads and high winds but the warm welcome we received on arrival more than made up for the journey there. Food was top notch with a nice selection of wines and ales. Highly recommended. Just try and avoid a day when the road there is flooded or there are trees down!

Thumbs up! We even went back a few days after our first visit. Loved the food, good selection of drinks and very attentive staff. Recommend ordering the lobster lasagna (if it’s on the menu) as it was finger licking good.

Spent the weekend here while doing a craft fair at the fakenham racecourse. Absolutely stunning place with beautiful views of the mill and really amazing staff. They made us so welcome and we’re very friendly. The food was top notch and the room we stayed in was wonderful, overlooking the river. We had breakfast, which was the tastiest ever! And the young lady who was there in the mornings is a breath of fresh air. 10/10 for customer service. We’re coming back next year! Thank you all so much!

Only stopped in for a bit to eat and a drink at lunchtime. The food was sensational. We had a couple of salads and half pints in the bar area. The homemade bread and butter is out of this world. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be visiting again to eat in the main restaurant (and hopefully stay over for a night!).
