Had an OK pie served with tepid mash on a cold plate 😔 No one once asked how the food was, they didn't seem to care. They didn't offer the house stout when asked what black beers they had, didn't know or didn't care, so I may never know if that was any good 🤷♂️
Pleasant traditional country pub. Nice open fires friendly staff
How refreshing to get honest home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Loved the food and so much better than some of the frozen rubbish served up at certain pub chains! Well done! A great meal and had a few quid left over for a couple extra pints!
Never been before, went with good friends and neighbours, who also discovered you since they've moved to the area. Lovely friendly staff, bar and restaurant. Food good. Can't wait to go back. See you at your Christmas Quiz.🧑🎄🤗🙃🥂🍻
bloody marvellous, just how pubs used to be. reasonable priced honest food and beer, lots of it 4+ real ales on tap. it was very busy on Sat 16th September, but had a nice friendly vibe
