Situated in the centre of Garboldisham, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border between Thetford and Diss, The Fox has been owned and run by the local community since 2016, following a ten-year closure. The pub, which is open primarily on Wednesdays and weekends (Wednesday 6-9pm, Friday 5-10pm, Saturday 12-10pm, Sunday 12-5pm), is run entirely by volunteers.
Our specialities include local real ales, Saturday night 'street food’ and a wide selection of gins. We are dog-friendly, welcome families and groups, and offer a large garden for the enjoyment of summer visitors plus log fires for those visiting in winter.
With respect to the current coronavirus issue, we have followed all of the government guidelines to make our premises as safe as possible for visitors. If you are visiting our area or simply passing through, do come and see us. You can be assured of a warm welcome.

Went to local beer festival. Good beer, lovely cider and lovely friendly locals. So good to see a community pub doing so well.

Brilliant community pub Open for Boxing day and serving a good selection of ales and the rest. Warm, cosy and comfortable. Really well done!
Just had the one as we were passing. Lovely beer garden where dogs are welcome. Landlord is friendly and helpful. They sell a decent wine and don't charge the earth. Well worth a visit
