We had our Daughter christened on Sunday 17th September with our celebrations continuing at The Railway Tavern. We cannot thank Paul & Debbie enough for all they had done in regards to preparing and organising, nothing was too much trouble. They had organised a yummy spread for our guests (which received many compliments!), they had even offered to decorate the marquee for us so it was one less job for us to worry about and it looked beautiful. Their staff were fantastic, always making sure we were ok and if there was anything we needed. They had even made a little soft play area for the little ones 🥹 We really cannot thank you all enough and we would not hesitate in recommending you to friends & family ❤️
I can’t thank the tavern enough for letting us host a team building afternoon. The staff were attentive, we had use of the gazebo and the fish and chips were excellent! Thank you Paul and the team at the tavern
Had medium haddock and chips and mushy peas. The peas were great and the chips , unfortunately being a fish+chip lover it was the worst I've ever had very chewy all skin which I love and batter ,the actual size of white fish was the size of two lemon slices of which I pointed out to bar staff.
Amazing find. Great fish and chips. Really fresh and so reasonably priced. Shows that a good locals pub can produce good quality food and a clean environment with amazing service.
Love this pub and a great idea having a fish and chip shop connected to it. I always have a great time drinking here with a great selection of beers and ciders on tap and some great customer service. Owner is also really friendly and hosts some amazing events for the football and other sporting events. Highly recommend !
